Still in the light of yesterday’s International Women’s Day, we‘re excited to present you our next event.
We invite to join us on Tuesday, 16.03.2021 at 18:15 for our Movie Club
(yes, Movie Club instead of Book Club, because we‘re quite sure that you already had to buy a few books for this semester).
We‘ll be talking about the documentary „Period. End of Sentence“ by Rayka Zehtabchi, which won an Academy Award in 2019.
The documentation raises awareness of issues like the lack of access to menstrual products, stigmatization and inadequate access to reproductive and sexual health education. We‘ll use the movie as a ground for our discussion, but we‘re also looking forward to where the debate might take us.

As it is a problem that concerns everyone, the event is also open to non-members - to everyone that is open to talk with us about menstruation, the lack of sanitary supplies and the stigmatization that comes with it.
