Meet the
Prof. Dr. iur. Felix Addor
Prof. Addor is Deputy Director General, Chief Legal Counsel, and Director of the Legal & International Affairs Division of Intellectual Property. He has been responsible for legal, and policy matters regarding all fields of IP at the national and international level since 1999. Prof. Addor leads Swiss negotiating delegations to relevant international fora and to bi- and plurilateral negotiations. Furthermore, he is a lecturer on international negotiations at the University of Bern.

Kathrin Rüegsegger

Kathrin works as an advisor on innovation, intellectual property and public health at IPI. She holds a master’s degree in International and European Law (University of Bern) and a bachelor’s degree in International Relations (University of Geneva). Besides German and English which are her mother tongue, she is also fluent in Spanish and French. One of her great passions is international negotiation. Together with Prof. Felix Addor, she is responsible for the Model United Nations Seminar at the University of Bern. Kathrin has been a member of the Global Negotiation Conference, an association which has now been newly conceptualized as the Global Negotiation Institute (IGN).
